About the song

Toy by Netta was Israel's entry in the 2018 Eurovision song contest - and the overall winner of said contest as well! It was Israel's fourth win overall, the last being in 1998.

One critic described this performance as "gloriously bizarre pop", and we agree. This is definitely very Eurovision. Netta performs in front of two walls full of Maneki-Nekos, golden cats meant to bring good luck. She also sings the Japanese word "baka", meaning idiot, several times because she is apparently very into Pokemon (according to herself). Well, she sure did catch all them TV-votes!
