About the song

Have you ever been happy? Truly over-the-moon ecstatic? Indeed euphoric? We are sure that is what the Swedish artist Loreen felt when she won the 2012 Eurovision song contest with the song Euphoria. The song received the second-most points of any song in Eurovision history (372, versus the record 387 held by our favorite Norwegian violinist Alexander Rybak).

 In fact, the song became so popular that it is the most downloaded Eurovision song in UK history - ahead even of Waterloo by ABBA! You know Euphoria has to be good when the Brits prefer it over ABBA's song about a historic military victory over Napoleon.
