After I left Sveg I decided to take a swing up into the mountains. It's so different from being over by Gävle that I just had to go check it out. Malung was a delightful little city and I can see why so many peole come out this was for their holidays! If you're an outdoors kind of person, it's definitely worth checking out. I then continued south to the little city of Sunne and took a swing towards the west. I wasn't entirely sure why, but something was calling to me.
I figured it out when I arrived in Bengtsfors. The straw! Here you can find Halmens Hus, a workshop and museum dedicated to things made of straw, like me! They have a whole museum dedicated to the history of the craft, and classes you can sign up for about working with straw. They even have so you can buy the materials and do your craft at home with instructional videos! I was dancing with joy when I saw all of this.
Anyway, I couldn't help but include some straw ornaments for you all today. It's just so perfect! Happy Lucia!
